Every knowledge platform makes this same trade-off. Kiori uses envelope encryption (Cloud KMS) for sensitive workspace data like API tokens and credentials, and protects your content with rate limiting, PII auto-detection, query visibility controls, and EU hosting by default. Kiori uses privacy-focused analytics to improve the product, but does not sell your data or serve behavioral ads. We would rather be honest about a technical limitation than pretend it does not exist.
